Watch: Jay Glazer says 49ers "in love" with Trey Lance's development behind the scenes

There has been plenty of discourse surrounding 49ers social media, specifically the conversation circulating around Trey Lance and if he is indeed ready to take over for Jimmy Garoppolo as QB1 for the historic franchise.  

We have heard from many of the 49ers' players on the matter but this is the first report we have heard from "inside the building" as Jay Glazer of Fox Sports tells Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area.

Clearly, Glazer and GM John Lynch have a great relationship dating back to when Lynch was a broadcaster for Fox Sports, which is likely a strong indication of where this messaging is coming from. Fans will only be able to speculate until they can get their own eyes on the young signal caller in OTA's and training camp.

I'd expect this to be an ongoing conversation amongst the fans base regardless of how many reports come out of Trey Lance being "ready". Only time will tell at this point if Trey Lance is ready to rock and roll in 2022.
