The 49ers' were able to escape their first holdout under the John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan regime by locking up rookie QB Trey Lance to a 4-year deal.
The deal is worth $34.1 million and is fully guaranteed. The 49ers now have the entire 2021 rookie draft class signed and ready for training camp to begin.
