One of my favorite moments was the first time Nick ever started a football game for the 49ers.
It was a game that had massive implications all though the 49ers record at the time would disagree. This was the final Battle of the Bay between the Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers, one of the greatest turf rivalries in sports history.
In the Bay we move a little different so when these two teams squared off, it meant ownership and bragging rights of the final Battle of the Bay.
Thanks to Nick Mullens that beautiful Thursday night, the 49ers became Bay Champions forever, beating the Derek Carr led Raiders 34-3 with an electric performance at Levi's stadium.
He also was verified on twitter mid-game.

Even though Nick Mullens didn't win very many games as the starter for the 49ers throughout his career, he provided some great moments.
Mullens is only 26 years old and has plenty of time to gain more seasoning in the league.
At this rate, QBs are still playing at peak levels into mid-to-late 30's. Mullens will likely be a career backup but has the experience already to be able to be effective in spots and potentially grow into a starter later on down the road.
The 49ers have 4 QBs currently on the roster and both QBs brought in from 2017 are out in former 3rd round draft pick C.J. Beathard and now undrafted free agent signing Nick Mullens.
"Feels great, baby"
