49ers' Fans Take Over Rocky Statue Before Eagles Game

It's going down in Philly. 

49ers' fans took to the famous Philadelphia landmark on Saturday and a video of the gathering captured by Eric Crocker caused quite a stir amongst Eagles' fans social media. 

Fans of the the Philadelphia Eagles weren't too particularly pleased seeing a 49ers' flag wrapped around their favorite cult hero. 

Take a look at the video below: 

 

Once Eagles' fans caught wind of the video on twitter, they showered the tweet with hilarious responses to the video like the ones you see below.

It's clear that there will plenty more trash talk coming before, during, and after the game. Eagles' fans feel that the 49ers' fans have disrespected the Rocky statue and deserve to pay, just as the Vikings did when their fans gathered around the statue and were handled by the Eagles.


We shall see the if the 49ers meet the same fate as the Vikings from a few years past or they show up ready to battle not only the players on the field, but the fans in the stands as well.
