McKinnon was never able to get solid footing after tearing his ACL in his first offseason with the 49ers. McKinnon wound up spending back-to-back seasons on the injured reserve list while the 49ers honored his contract.
In his only available year, we saw Jerick's contributions be extremely minimal to say the least. Jet did show some flashes of his old self during the beginning of the year but didn't contribute much after that. He racked up a total of 331 rushing yards and 5 TDs in 2020.
Over last 6 regular season games of 2020, Jet only rushed 4 times and caught 8 passes.
Jerrick McKinnon said “Fuck no” when asked if he’d return back to the Niners.

Just recently, team leader Jimmie Ward was also on Instagram Live talking about how the 49ers front office needs to "Come Correct" with teammate Jason Verrett's contract as the CB is a free agent.

As we discussed with the Ward-Verrett video, we continue to see a trend of players seemingly having a negative tone towards the front office.
We will continue to monitor these situations closely.
"Feels great, baby"
