It's no secret that the San Francisco 49ers are a much better offensive team when George Kittle is on the field. The star tight end missed the team's first two games of the season with a groin injury, and his absence was keenly felt.
On Friday morning, head coach Kyle Shanahan gave an update for what he expects this Sunday night when the team faces the Denver Broncos in primetime.
Hint: It's all gravy, baby.
Speaking on KNBR, Shanahan said he would be surprised if Kittle does not play in Week 3 (h/t 49ers Webzone).
Not only is this fantastic news for the 49ers in general, it's especially phenomenal for the offense this weekend. Denver struggles to defend tight ends, having allowed 14 receptions for 136 yards and two touchdowns in the first two weeks of the season.
Assuming Kittle is 100 percent, he should feast on Sunday night.
"Feels great, baby"
